Maple trout

This recipe is from tutorial Trout, Apple Cider Vinegar, Maple Syrup with Meghan Hill.

 

Ingredients

For this recipe you will need:

  • 4 Rainbow Trout Filets 

  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup

  • 1 tablespoon honey

  • 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped or pressed

  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes

  • ¼ teaspoon paprika

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 tablespoon of butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and filet your trout.

  2. Once your trout is prepared, combine all other ingredients in a small bowl.

  3. Put each filet into the mixture while you prepare your pan.

  4. Take some aluminum foil and lay it on top of a baking sheet, then place your trout onto the foil.

  5. Wrap the edges up, then pour the rest of the mixture on top of the trout before folding the foil over on top of the trout.

  6. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until your trout is flaky.
